Project Engineering

Are you a motivated, proactive, positive, team player? Do you have limited experience in the Life Science industry but want to learn and grow? An entry level consulting position with Concuir is a great way to get exposure to industry requirements while gaining technical and project engineering skills under the guidance of our senior staff.

Job Description:

As a full-time employee of Concuir, Inc, you will provide consulting services to pharmaceutical, biotech and/or medical device clients. In this role, you will quickly learn client typical practices and be in a position to recommend and implement improvements to reach project goals. This is based on your experience as well as from Concuir’s portfolio of project management and cGxP best practices. Typical projects range from design through qualification of production equipment and/or utilities to modification or implementation of new facilities and process scale ups. 

  • You will drive to understand the unique client needs in order to deliver successful results. Providing excellent customer service to the client and ultimately the patients is critical. Your Concuir leadership will work with you to ensure internal processes and support are in place to ensure your positive results.
  • You will execute projects day-to-day for your clients with  mentorship and technical problem solving guidance from your manager and team.
  • You will interface with process owners and project stakeholders to reach the client objectives. This includes resolving critical issues and gathering appropriate feedback from the team.
  • Depending on scope and project complexity, you may be responsible for delivering between 1 and 3 projects concurrently; always remembering point number one, provide excellent customer service.

Position will be titled Engineer I, I/II or II based on experience


  • Perform Capital and/or Expense project deliverables to time, cost and goals.
  • Deliver expectations and client satisfaction of the project and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate team communication and accountability by escalating issues appropriately.
  • Participate in cross functional teams dedicated to process improvement, efficiency, and optimization.
  • Participate in technology transfer, construction, and scale-up for clients demonstrating strong technical documentation and writing.
  • Provide technical assessments for investigations, validation, and change control.
  • Generate and revise engineering specifications to support process equipment and manufacturing processes.
  • Execute studies and comparability protocols to manufacturing operations.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and start-up of Process Equipment and Utilities.
  • Experience with engineering drawings and SOPs to support updates.


  • 0-2+ years’ experience working on capital projects in Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Medical Device industry desired, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to build good relationships with stakeholders and the wider site teams.
  • Ability and desire to work within a high-performing team and collaborate effectively and respectfully with internal and external staff at all levels and of diverse backgrounds.
